Step 1 - How can we add value to your curriculum? Choose your program.
Refer to your current curriculum program (Australian Curriculum/Curriculum into the classroom) to see if there is a particular BIEEC day visit program, short course or camp experience which supports your curriculum needs
Programs utilise the BIEEC site and local environments of Boyne Island and Tannum Sands. Learning experiences are aligned to curriculum areas including science, HPE, geography, history and social sciences (HASS). The general capabilities and cross curricula priorities are also underpinned in all of our programs.
Refer to Programs and Activities or contact us to discuss your choice. All programs offered include opportunities to liaise with BIEEC staff to fully develop the day visit or camp experience and focus on the specific learning outcomes and learning needs for your school and class.
Step 2 - Choose dates
On the booking form please indicate your preference of dates with the alternative dates listed also. We always endeavour to satisfy our client's choice, however please understand there are many schools accessing our services.
Step 3 - Making a Booking
All applications for bookings must be submitted via the online booking form or PDF booking form and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org . Please consider program type (day visit, short course, camp experience or community group booking), suitable dates with alternatives, catering choices and transport options prior to submitting an application.
Step 4 - Confirmation of Booking
1. After receiving your booking , you will be notified with a booking notice that confirms the available dates for your visit and the contact details of your program manager.
2. If you are satisfied with date/s offered you will be asked to forward a confirmation.
3. Your program manager will request further details regarding your program. You will be contacted prior to your visit to discuss curriculum, Workplace Health and Safety and program delivery. This will be negotiated with Boyne Island Environmental Education Centre staff.
4. You will receive a Booking Confirmation Letter (BCL) which includes all of the finalised details of your program and costs associated. Please pay particular attention to our Cancellation/alteration policy (DOCX, 24KB). Please review your program upon receipt of the BCL and contact your program manager for any changes or to confirm. The school will be invoiced after your visit. No GST is charged to state schools, however GST is charged to non-state visiting schools and community groups . Prices quoted are GST exclusive.
